Roof Plant Access Solution Case Study:
HVAC Access for Multi-Tenant Commercial Development in Regional Queensland
This project involved the design and rapid installation of stair and ladder access systems for a new-build commercial site in Bundaberg, Queensland.
As new sections of the building were progressively constructed, Safetylyne provided tailored access systems to suit the evolving site layout and tenant specifications. The project required compatibility with a clip-lock roof system, and every access component - stairs, platforms, and ladders - was fabricated and preassembled in our workshop to ensure fast on-site installation. The access stair system was installed within a single day, minimising disruption to the wider construction schedule.
Our team worked closely with the project stakeholders throughout the staged build, adapting access solutions in real-time as new rooftop areas were added. The result: a seamless, fully compliant HVAC maintenance access setup that matched architectural intent while meeting AS 1657:2018 safety requirements.
